Two young Indonesian women have made remarkable achievements in the global biopharmaceutical industry.

Athalia Theda Tanujaya is a young Indonesian professional currently working as a Medical Information Specialist in the Botulinum Toxin Division at Daewoong Pharmaceutical—an advanced injectable product used in aesthetic and therapeutic treatments across more than 80 countries.

At Daewoong, I experienced a work culture that fosters growth through trust and meaningful contributions. Although I had no prior experience in product launches, I was given the opportunity to lead key projects, such as the launch of botulinum toxin products in Indonesia and presenting at international scientific forums. This reflects Daewoong’s commitment to recognizing both performance and potential.

In the production line, Hanifah Bahiira plays a key role as part of the Nabota 3 production team. Her responsibility is to ensure that every stage of the botulinum toxin manufacturing process meets the highest quality standards before being delivered to the global market.

I began my journey at Daewoong through an internship program, and I now hold a key responsibility in the final stage of Nabota’s production process—visual inspection—which is a critical step in determining whether the product is safe for patient use.
